February 2010 commercial printing shipments were $6.57 billion, down -7.2% compared to 2009. Adjusting for inflation, shipments were down -9.6%.

Dr. Joe Webb, director of WhatTheyThink’s Economics and Research Center, said “January and February’s commercial printing shipments were down about -6.4% on a current dollar basis, and their shipment levels indicate approximately an $82 billion.
