A company’s brand can get stale over many years requiring a complete overhaul. This can include everything from just a logo change to a complete makeover of all marketing communications – print, advertising, direct mail, trade shows etc. – to communicate not only the logo change but a change in strategic vision. Wise has just completed such a rebranding that was launched at the PSDA Print Solutions 2008 Conference last Thursday in Baltimore. We have organized into 4 distinct product groups: business forms, commercial printing, document services, and marketing services.

At the show, I had numerous people ask me “what happened to the owl”? Now the owl logo has been around since 1969 when the Wise was founded by David Wise. My response to these questions? ” The owl was very old and sooner or later, everyone and every thing dies. I had to take him out in the backyard and give him the burial he deserved. He’s been very good to us and we appreciate all that he has done to help our identity”. But a brand doesn’t make a company successful – people do. And our associates do more than print business forms now. So, we have dropped the “Business Forms” (Wise Business Forms) from our name and now we are simply “Wise” When our associates talk to customers, they refer to us as “Wise”. For example they say, “send that order to Wise”.

Welcome to the New Wise – print, marketing and technology solutions.
